When people in Ghana look for a place to eat, a salon, a pharmacy or a shop nearby, more of them start on their phones. FeelyFeely Locals is where they find restaurants, hotels and services in their area, and listing your business there is free. Here is how to set it up so customers can find you, trust you and reach you.
Check whether you are already listed
Go to add a place or business and type your business name. If a similar place already exists, you will see it. Choose Claim ownership if it is yours, so you control the details, or create a new listing if it is a different business.
Choose the right type
Pick Place or business for shops, restaurants, salons, offices and venues with a physical location, then select your main business type. You can add more than one type if you do several things, for example a restaurant that also does catering. Dedicated listings for mobile services and trades such as plumbers and electricians are coming soon.
Get the essentials right
- Location: drop the pin exactly on your entrance so directions bring customers to your door, not the next street.
- Opening hours: include weekends and keep them current. Nothing loses a customer faster than arriving to a locked door.
- Contact: your phone number and WhatsApp, so customers can ask before they come.
- Social links: add your Facebook and Instagram pages so customers can see your latest work and posts.
Photos that bring people in
- The front of the business as customers see it from the street, so they recognise it when they arrive.
- Inside, clean and well lit, during opening hours.
- Your best dishes, products or finished work.
- Your team, if they are happy to be photographed. People like to know who they will meet.
Keep it alive
Update your hours for holidays, refresh photos when you redecorate or change the menu, and keep an eye on reviews and questions from customers. An active listing tells customers you are open and paying attention.
See how you compare
Once listed, Market Insights in your business dashboard lets you compare your business with others nearby, on ratings, reviews, posts and more, so you can see where you stand.
Add your business to FeelyFeely Locals. It takes a few minutes and costs nothing.
